On arrival at Kathmandu and Nepal International Airport, after clearing the visa formalities, and claiming the baggage. Head towards departure exit, where our staff receives you for a short transfer to the hotel. After getting refreshed join on the lobby with other members for Langtang Valley trek briefing, provided by our guide, leader. On briefing full information of the treks, and hotels in Kathmandu as well of local cultures with do’s and don’ts. Evening a lovely dinner introduction to Nepali foods with exciting cultural programs.
Morning after breakfast, our city / cultural guide takes you on a tour visiting world heritage sites around Kathmandu city. Includes Old Durbar Square / Palace Courtyard, residence of Living Goddess the Kumari; and to Swayambhunath Stupa with more 2,600 years of history. Then head towards holy Hindu temple of Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath a huge Buddhist Stupa. After an exciting and interesting tour back to hotel, preparation and packing for trekking.
Non-essential clothing and items not required for treks, can be stored in the Hotel or with Everest Adventure Tour.
The drive to Syabrubesi, begins the drive early morning after a good breakfast for a long journey of about six hours or more. Depending upon the road condition, as well there is two route to reach up to Trisuli Bazaar en-route to Dhunche town and Syabrubesi. Taking the shortest way head down beyond Kathmandu valley reaching a small town of Galche. From here across the bridge, and then on good road following the Trisuli upstream to warmer areas of Trisuli Bazaar, the main town of Nuwakott district. Drive continues heading along the winding uphill entering the district of Rasuwa, where air gets cooler on reaching Dhunche the headquarters town of Rasuwa and Langtang region. As well the entry point of Langtang National Park, from Dhunche on the winding zig-zag downhill to Syabrubesi, once a small farm village. At present has become into a small town enjoy the overnight in the comfort of a nice lodge or guest house.
Morning after first overnight in hill village of Langtang Himal area, populated by the Tamang community. The native of Langtang and Central Himalayas of Tibetan origin and similar practice of Buddhism religion. As you encounter on the trek to Langtang valley at Kyanjin Gompa. Morning starts crossing the Bhote Koshi River which flows from the glacial source of Tibetan mountains.
The uphill walk reaching a ridge and coming across a small isolated place of River Side, having few small lodge and Tea-House. Probably stopping for lunch break as time permits, afternoon walk with slow climb into a dense tree lines. After few hours of afternoon walks reaching to our overnight destination at Lama Hotel, situated on a nice clearing. Amidst thick forest and by the river side, and lush vegetation, enjoy the comfort of a nice lodge accommodation.
After a pleasant overnight with the sound of a river flow, morning walk heads higher into dense forest. Lined with rhododendron, pine, and firs, includes bamboo thickets, which makes an ideal habitat for endangered and rare Red Panda. Few wildlife is often seen around this areas, the walk follows higher reaching a small spot at Ghoretabela. Possible lunch stop or further to Thyangsyap on the trail to Mundu village. Walk heads through forested path reaching a place of boulders of rocks and huge stones. This is where Langtang village existed before the huge earthquake of 2015. The villages was badly damaged and loss of many human life including some foreign trekkers. From this former devastated areas, a short walk further to reach our overnight halt at Mundu, a new settlement after Langtang village disappeared from the earthquakes.

Today a short morning walk to our main destination and highlight to Kyanjin, located in the heart of Langtang Valley. Morning on leaving Mundu settlement in the comfort of nice cozy lodge, walk follows towards east.
A slow short steep climb facing glorious panorama of giant snow peaks, as you enter the scenic Langtang Valley. After a lovely morning walks of some hours reaching Kyanjin Gompa, a wonderful place for overnight halt for two nights.
Enjoy the day, after a good lunch in the lodge restaurant, marveling the beautiful views of surrounding snow peaks. Explore around the lovely settlement of Kyanjin and the highest overnight stop of the adventure.
A full day on this beautiful spot at Kyanjin, best good short hike to the top of
high Kyanjin-Ri at 4,850 m / 15, 912 feet. Rewards spectacular panoramic views of surrounding towering peaks of Langtang and Jugal Himal range.
Few other places like Tserko-Ri which takes nearly whole day hike both ways and quite tiring walks. Rest of the day stroll around the Kyanjin and visit the local Gompa / monastery of religious and cultural interest.
From Kyanjin after a wonderful moment, today will be one of the longest walks of the journey. Leaving Kyanjin and the scenic Langtang Valley, on long downhill through Mundu and Ghoretabela and back into tree lines. Following the same exciting route to Lama Hotel for overnight stop.
Morning from Lama Hotel leaving the main trail, heading towards our next final destinations towards Gosainkunda. The walk follows on the same earlier trail to River side, and then head for the climb. The uphill continues for few hours reaching on top of a high ridge, where Thulo Syabru located. An interesting Tamang village with rows of houses like a locomotive, enjoy the comfort of a nice simple lodge.
On leaving Thulo or Upper Syabru village, morning walks follows north above the village and the monastery. A steep climb through dense cool forest past few small settlements with Tea-Houses, facing views of Langtang and Ganesh Himal.
As climb continues for an hour or more reaching a flat field around the summer pasture areas. Then the walk gets better on gradual winding path within beautiful forest all the way to Sing Gompa. A nice moderate size village on the junction of Gosainkunda, Dhunche and Thulo Syabru routes. Check into a nice lodge with time to visit its small cheese factory and the monastery. Situated on top of the village a nice old monastery of great religious and cultural interest.
A great day today to reach the last main highlights of the adventure to Gosainkunda. After a good breakfast, climb for a short while facing great magnificent views of Ganesh, Manaslu and Annapurna Himalayas.
The walk leads on gradual path to enter a lovely forest with views of whole Langtang Himal range towards north. Then leaving the lush green vegetation and forested areas reaching a wide open exposed ridge. From this point climb stats to steep haul past few smaller settlements with Tea-Houses and lodge. After few hours of steep up reaching on top of Laurabinaya ridge top, offers spectacular scenery of surrounding landscapes. Facing tremendous views of snow-clad peaks towards north-west and east direction.
From the scenic top, down towards Bhairab and Saraswati Kund / lakes with short climb to Gosainkunda. An amazing and exciting place, one of the holiest of all holy spot for pilgrimage around the whole Himalayan region. The lake regarded as sacred by the Hindu followers, the place with a small temple of Lord Shiva. Where few simple lodges are situated above the lake shore line, the lake placed on bowl like basin. Surrounded by towering rocky cliffs and snow peaks, certainly one can feel the aura of mountain spirits.
One of the longest and hardest part of the adventure is climb up to the pass of Gosainkunda or Eastern Laurabinaya-La. A traverse from Rasuwa areas to a Sindhu-Palchok district towards Helambu region. The morning walk follows the shore of the lake, with climb over boulders past smaller glacial ponds of Surya Kund. Then a steep haul to the top of Gosainkunda pass. Facing sweeping panorama a surrounding beautiful landscapes with snow peaks, then head for a long steep descent to the base; of Gosainkunda or East Laurabinaya-La pass.
The bottom of the pass with few small tea-shops, as walk follows on gradual ups and down. Then reaching back into tree lines, the route leads to winding path, and finally ending the long day at Ghopte. A small settlement with few simple huts, serves as Tea-House and lodge, staying here for overnight. After a long hard day walk of the journey. Ghopte a place with a huge overhanging caves, at one time it served as a shelter for travelers and pilgrims.
The morning walk from Ghopte is on gradual path, through lovely forest as walk follows due east. From here entering the Helambu area of Sindhu-Palchok district a pleasant walk, slowly the trail heads uphill. A climb of an hour to Thadepati a high hill with number of huts serving as lodge and tea-houses. Enjoy the overnight at Thadepati, after a short day walks, after checking into a lodge. Having time to marvel the glorious views of rolling hills and valleys with snow-capped peaks of Jugal Himal range.
Rise early morning for stunning sunrise views from the top of Thadepati hill, along with range of snow peaks. After breakfast a short climb on top of a ridge, then head downhill through dense forest of pines and rhododendron. Reaching at the bottom, and then on pleasant path on grassy meadow crossing a streams to reach Melamche-Gaon. A nice small village of mixed tribes of people Sherpa, Tamang and Hyalmo, having nice houses. Observe the fine wood works, of beautiful intricate carving on windows and doors of the houses.
Today’s walks quite short walks to reach in the heart of Helambu at Tarke-Gyang the main village of Helambu. Morning walks follows on gentle trail, then down to a river then cross over a bridge with short steep climb. After short hour of uphill reaching Tarke-Gyang village for lunch and overnight halt in the comfort of a nice lodge. Enjoy the afternoon exploring this nice neat village adorned with Buddhist religious monuments of Stupas and prayer walls. Visit the oldest monastery of the area called Ama Yangri, perched on top of the village. An exciting tour of monastery interior observing the statues of saints and gurus with idols of Lord Buddha. The main prayer hall with vibrant religious arts and paintings, from the monastery enjoy the views of Jugal Himal peaks.
After a pleasant and wonderful stop at Tarke-Gyang, walk on moderate trail as well another short day to Sermathang. The trail follows encountering series of Chorten / Stupas, the reaching a small village of Gangyul. Walk leads into cool shade of forest then reaching Sermathang village for lunch and overnight stop.

Located by the Melamche River flowing from the glacial source of Jugal and Langtang Himal. The drive leads past the town of Melamche Bazaar, then the dirt road joins on the main highway. As drive continues past the outskirt of Bhaktapur city to enter the bustling city of Kathmandu.
On arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel rest of the day at leisure for individual activities or for shopping spree on last day in Nepal.
Final day in Kathmandu and Nepal, as time for your international flight for homeward bound or next port of call. Transfer to Kathmandu, Nepal international airport bidding farewell to your guide and staff, after a marvelous and enjoyable adventure to Langtang Valley with Gosainkunda & Helambu trek.
A moderate adventure as well an adventurous treks, where all can enjoy the walk to Langtang Valley. Including Gosainkunda to Helambu region. The altitude does not make a difference, the only tough is climb uphill on first day to Lama Hotel. Including hike up to Kyanjin-Ri. As well on route to Gosainkunda the last phase of the treks, involves high altitude. Taking slow and steady with enough short rest can overcome the steep and hard sections of the climb. Eventually walk involves much downhill on return journey to the end of trek.
Minimum 14 to maximum of 70 years of age can join. But for young teen trekkers should be accompanied by parents or guardians. All should be in normal physical shape and good health, if someone has any medical history can take advice from your doctors before signing for the treks.
Trekkers will be surprised to find good food menu of varieties, from Tibetan, Nepali, Indian and Chinese to Continental. Includes long list of snacks and drinks for the customer delights in most lodges on treks.
The lodge accommodation are nice and lovely according to the choices of the trekkers. From budget to standard accommodation at Kyanjin and Syabrubesi, but most settlements offers non-attached bath and toilets. All the lodges are simple and clean with nice rooms with large and warm dining with common toilets and bathrooms. At Thulo Syabru and Gosainkunda the lodge accommodation is basic with simple rooms, and the foods with limited varieties. However all can enjoy the warm hospitality of the locals and expect the unexpected. Which makes the adventure more fun and delightful.
It is not that tough or hard as it looks, depending upon one fitness level and health condition. Where all Himalayan treks involves steep climb and downs for some days. However, taking slow and having short rest will be the best to enjoy the walks. The only tough part is walk to Gosainkunda with steep climb for few hours. The other hard effort to negotiate is climbing over the Gosainkunda pass or east Laurabinaya-La Pass, and with steep downhill. Rest of the trek is normal on gradual path with few short ups and downs, which is normal around the Himalayan walks.
All lodges have hydro-power to run electricity, or by solar power, where trekkers can charge their electronic items and gadgets. A fee is charged per hour for each items, as for internet and Wi-Fi, have connection. Depending upon the areas in deep gorge and valley, as well weather wise, can be disturbing with bad receptions. The best place is Syabrubesi and Kyanjin, as well as Sing Gompa around other places do works well with local SIM. Which can be bought in Kathmandu at reasonable cost.
The festival in Gosainkunda is held during wet summer and monsoon times of
