Annapurna Himalayan range is vast and provides excellent trekking for a few days to a week or month. The popular short moderate and long adventurous trekking around the Annapurna Himalaya region is as follows.

Ghorepani & Poon Hill Trekking, a moderate-grade trek of 3-4 days walk on the high green hills. The trek leads to beautiful rhododendron and pine forest with views of Annapurna, Manaslu, and Dhaulagiri Himalaya range.

Takes you to the high scenic Poon Hill at 3,210 m / 10, 531 feet, which offers spectacular sunrise views. Includes 360° panorama of the Mid-West Himalaya range from Dhaulagiri, Annapurna to Manaslu Himalayas with an array of snow peaks. A wonderful trek for all people and age groups starts and ends at beautiful Pokhara city.

Annapurna Base Camp Treks, an adventure of a week or more one of the most sought adventure destinations in all of the Himalayas. The trek leads from low warm farm areas to cooler green hills and then ends at the Arctic zone. Where you stand amidst towering giant peaks of the Annapurna Himalayas, located within the picturesque Annapurna Sanctuary.

The Annapurna Circuit Trek leads to the end of Manang Valley to cross the highest point of the adventure. Reaching Thorang-La Pass at 5,416 m / 17,769 feet high, the pass straddles the boundary between Manang and Mustang districts. 

Thorang-La Pass offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain range of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Chulu’s, and Damodar Himal with Manaslu Himalayas.

From the pass downhill to a holy site of Muktinath, and Jomsom town at Mustang areas. The adventure finally completes at Pokhara, after taking an exciting drive from the ending point of the trek.

Interested trekkers can extend the Annapurna Circuit trek by taking a side trip to beautiful turquoise Tilicho Lake. Listed as the world’s highest glacial lake at 4,919 m and 16, 138 feet high.

Everest Region Trekking:

Everest Region Trekking is another famous and popular destination for scenic views and local Sherpa cultures. The most visited region around Everest is the Khumbu area of Everest, due to its location of the world's highest Mt. Everest.

The main flow of trekkers prefers walks to Everest base camp, an exciting scenic walk from the town of Lukla. All adventures around the high Khumbu and Everest region start and ends at Lukla. Where all trekkers have to fly in and out of Lukla, upon reaching Lukla, after a short flight from Kathmandu. The walk follows to enter Sagarmatha National Park, Sagarmatha is a name for Everest in Nepal.

In the Sherpa language of Tibetan origin is called Chomolungma, and the walk heads high up at Namche Bazaar. The capital of Khumbu Sherpa and a famous hub for all trekkers, with perfect height for a rest day and acclimatization. 

Before heading up to various higher destinations like Gokyo Valley and Everest base camp. The walk to Everest Camp leads to beautiful areas of Tengboche and the famous monastery. Where a religious festival called Mani Rimdu is held in October or November, as per the Buddhist calendar.

From Tengboche onwards tree lines and vegetation drop for mountainous terrain, as the walk leads higher past Dingboche and Lobuche. Then reaching remorseless fields of moraine, ice, and glaciers at Everest Base Camp. A great spot standing beneath the world’s highest peaks, from base camp climb leads to the highest point on top of Kalapathar Hill. Located at 5,600 meters/18,373 feet high, offers a jaw-dropping panorama of surrounding giant peaks with the closest views of

Mt. Everest. Return route on the same scenic trail back to Lukla for a short panoramic flight to Kathmandu.

Around the Everest Region of Khumbu areas, besides Everest Base Camp another popular trek is Gokyo. A beautiful valley of lakes with close views of Mt. Cho-Oyu, from the high Gokyo-Ri one, can enjoy. 

Overlooking tremendous views of Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu with Cho-Oyu, includes a series of snow-capped peaks. Gokyo Valley where the Himalayas' longest Ngozumpa glaciers the source of the Dudh Koshi River is located. An exciting trek to Gokyo Valley of more than ten days, where interested trekkers can combine with Everest base camp. 

Crossing high Cho-La 5,420 m to Everest base camp, from Gokyo, or traverse over the Renjo-La pass to Lukla via Thame.

The Langtang Himal Region:

Another popular and famous trekking region is a trek to Langtang Valley for a week duration. Leads to moderate walks through beautiful rhododendron, and pine forest to Kyanjin at 3,800 m high, located within scenic Langtang Valley. 

A lovely country walks as well to observe the local Buddhist cultures of native Tamang people. Langtang Himal is the closest mountain range to the capital Kathmandu, and worth a visit to beautiful Langtang Valley. Trekkers can extend the adventure with Langtang Valley heading towards higher areas at Gosainkunda, a holy lake.

The other exciting place around the Langtang Himal region is a cultural and scenic Tamang Heritage Trek of a week duration.

Manaslu Himal Region: 

Manaslu Himal Region provides excellent trekking adventures, famously known as the Manaslu Circuit of less than two weeks walks. 

Involves crossing the high Larke-La pass at 5,106 m pass to reach the Manang areas from Manaslu and Gorkha regions.

The trek can be combined with the hidden country of Tsum Valley, a great wonderful place beyond Ganesh and Manaslu Himal. The trek around Manaslu includes long and exciting drives both ways to and from Kathmandu. Manaslu and Tsum Valley fall within Restricted Areas of Nepal, where special permits are required.

Other famous adventure destinations:

Nepal with a wide range of Himalayan range that stretches from the Far East to the remote wild northwest. Where one can enjoy the longest treks of 3 months from Kanchenjunga Himalayas to the far west. 

Towards Mt. Api and Saipal Himal range, the adventure is known as the Great Trans Himalaya. The popular areas of the far eastern Himalayas are trek to Makalu base camp and Kanchenjunga base camps treks.

Around Far Western Himalayas, trekkers can enjoy the adventure to Upper or Lower Dolpo of more than two weeks of walks. Includes beautiful Phoksundo Lake and the remote areas of Shey Gompa the Crystal Monastery.
