The Trisuli River flows from the glaciers of Mt. Ganesh and Langtang Himal range, running down streams to warmer mid-hills. The river continues its flow to the low sub-tropical of the Terai belt to form a great Narayani River. Then eventually joins the Ganges in India and ends at the Bay of Bengal.
Trisuli River Rafting is about 40 km. / 25 miles, driving distance from the capital Kathmandu. The actual Rafting Put-In-Point is much further than a few hours’ drive reaching the road-side village of Chauradhi. Where the adventure starts rafting on a rubber inflatable boat, having space for more than 6 people. 
In the Nepal River, Rafting uses two types of boats with oars in the middle. The most common is where all people paddle as per the instruction of the captain seated at the back. Given commands on the technique of paddling, the middle oars boat is best for a family with young children and elderly folks.
On the oar boat, the captain does the paddling and maneuvering, while you sit and relax, enjoying the exciting moments. 
The Rafting begins after getting seated on a boat with safety gear of helmets, life jackets, and a paddle each. After a briefing on safety procedures, as you paddle downstream encounter huge bouncy waves and rapids. Then slowly ending the day rafting adventure reaching the sandy bank of Trisuli River, for a return drive to Kathmandu. Start the morning after an early breakfast for exciting thrills on Trisuli Rafting, ETA guide, and staff receives. For a few hour drive beyond Kathmandu city and the valley, heading downhill to low warm farm areas. The journey is on the main busy highway of Nepal that links to the capital Kathmandu. As the ride leads past Naubise and Gajure towns to reach the starting point of Rafting at Chauradhi.
A small town on a roadside, a short walk to the Trisuli Riverside, where all rafting crews greet you with an introduction. The captain briefs on safety measures, a technique of paddling, and about Trisuli River's origin and its flow of currents.   
After being equipped with safety gear for rafting, wearing a helmet, and life jacket, storing the valuables in a water-proof barrel. Then get ready for the excitement as the Captain seated at the back does the main steering with a big paddle.
The captain then gives orders of different ways of paddling instructions, as you row downstream. An exciting rapid to encounter like ‘Ladies Delights’, Monsoon, and the biggest rapids of Trisuli River the ‘Upsets’. After conquering all the rapids safely, and then coming across a few smaller waves and little rapids. 
 Slowly the Rafting completes, paddling to the bank of the River Trisuli near a roadside village. On reaching the vehicle, and getting changing in dry clothes, drive back to Kathmandu. After an exciting and wonderful thrill and adventure on Trisuli River Rafting.

For interested people instead of driving back to Kathmandu, can head towards beautiful Pokhara city. As well down to lowland of Terai at Chitwan for Jungle Safari for few days, after ending the day rafting on Trisuli River.

Rafting Put-in-Point: Across Central to Mid-East Himalayan range. 
Rafting Grade: Leisure to Moderate and Adventurous. 
                                                         The grade from II to IV on high waters.
Rafting duration: 3-4 hour besides driving to starting point.
Rafting Distance: Approx. 15 k.m / 9 ½ miles to 20 k.m. / 12 ½ miles.
Ending Point: At Kurintar or Kurin-Ghat by the roadside village.
The best seasons for Trisuli Rafting:
Nearly all seasons of the year, except for the wet monsoon and high flows with fast currents. During the months of mid-June, July and August the heavy monsoon period in Nepal. The best is spring from March to May and autumn / fall from September to November. Can raft during winter times of December to February, but the morning and late afternoon can be cold. As well the river can be very cold getting splashed on big waves and rapids. Can wear waterproof gear or wet suits to keep warm during rafting in winter times.
